Bellthorpe Day Drive Trip Report

Meeting at Cj's Bakery in Woodford on a very cool morning a small group of crazy people headed out to Bellthorpe drive a couple odf tracks that have been closed since January.

First off, we headed to Beacon Rd where we aired down our tyres and took the track out to the Beacon View Lookout, The track has been recently graded, which made for a nice medium run.

Then we headed back to the main road and drove up to Old Brandons Mill, then we took a track I hadn't driven for years which also had been graded but still a good drive, before heading to the Bellthope Hall for a nature break.

Heading down the hill we swung back onto the hwy and stopped in at Stony Creek day use area for lunch and to check out the creek and what is a great swimming hole, but not in winter brrrrr.

After lunch, we headed up the very rocky Branch creek Rd which winds its way through a wonderful rain forest before coming out onto the main Bellthorpe track which we followed to the bottom of the forest where we aired up and headed home. If you havent been to Bellthore this trip is a great family day out.
