Cedar Grove Trip Report

Cedar Grove camping. Peder camped all week.

Sam Brad Karen Jim & Steve all arrived around lunchtime. Catherine & Paul not long after.

Last to arrive was Danielle & Nigel.

By 2pm the sun had disappeared over the yard arm & it was time to light the fire & enjoy happy hour.

Dessert was tiramasu.

Saturday morning & we all agreed it had been a cold night.

9am we set off for a drive. We were gone for around 4 hours. A few tracks we wanted to drive were unfortunately closed. We still drove some great steep tracks. Only 4 cars on the drive but a nice sunny day & lunch was enjoyed along the way.

Arrival back at camp. Peder went to Kandanga & got  some more drinks & Theo had arrived to camp.

Sam & Brad enjoyed a very icy dip in the creek .

Once again 2pm & chats, beers and a warm sit around the fire. Black cockatoos were heard & there was talk about rain coming?

The club supplied steaks potatoes & pumpkin. Chocolate cake & chocolate pudding was dessert.

The fire was a great one with lovely big logs keeping us warm all night.

Didn't seem as cold as the night before. Sunday morning & Brett & his son turned up early to attend the days drive .

Sam, Brad, Theo & Peder didn't attend this drive & packed up & headed home. Nice group of people, lovely food & cool weather made for a nice Cedar Grove camp.
