Trips
In July we had camp to Benarkin State Forest  lead by Nigel & Danielle with a great weekend exploring the area and a great camp site at called Clancy's

Our BBQ night drive unfortunatley was postponed due to rain, but we are keen to run it in the future.

August we have a day drive to Kenilworth(now Postponed due to Covid) and hopefully a camp to Landcruiser Mountain Park(fingers crossed)

Corroboree 2021 is on for the October long weekend and registrations are open, this is a great trip and numbers are limited, chech out the info in the events.

Training

The clubs new training program is gaining momentum with our August training weekend at Curra going very well with 10 members completing our first Winch Recovery Awareness Training on the Saturday and new members for our DAP (Driver Awareness Program) on Sunday.

We were very fortunate to have Tony Collins the head trainer for 4wdqld along for the weekend and Tony has approved our tracks for our training courses.

We have 6 club members in our new train the trainer program, and over the next 6 mths or so they will complete all of our courses themselves and will be able to run the non-accredited and assist the cert 4 trainer with the accredited courses that we run in the future.

Our goal is to have a number of Qualified Cert 4 Trainers in the club.

The club will now be able to offer the 4wdQld Certificated DAP, Winch Receovery and possible Towing Awareness Courses, as well as the Australian Accredited Chainsaw, Operate and Maintain a 4wd Vehicle, and the Advanced 4wd Courses, all done on the property at Curra.

Please keep an eye on our events for course dates and read about our course's under Training on the website or app.

AGM

Being August it is time for our AGM (Anunual General Meeting) and i would like to thank all of the members who have volunteered their time to help with the many positions that are needed to keep a club running .

As president it has made my job so much easier and it has allowed the comittee to plan for the future.

It is great to see all the work put in by our volunteers over the last 12mths bare fruit with the club continuing to grow both finacialy and in membership.

Talking to those who have volunteered it is positive to hear that they are happy to contiue in the same postions for 2022/22 but don't let that stop you from putting your hand up to help as there are rolls that you can help with.

Member Jungle

The member Jungle System is continuing to be an asset to the both the committee and members.

Members can now update their information at anytime and the renewal process is quick and easy. The Club Visitor temporary membership is working very well with many becoming financial members.

I am excited with the position the club is now in and look forward to another great year ahead.

Jim
