Planning Committee

We have set up a planning committee chaired by Peder Dale to help with ideas on how we can move the club forward. Keep an eye on your emails as we have sent out a survey for financial members which we hope most members will take a few minutes to complete. You can also access the survey here. Club Trips

May was quite a busy month and we had our Training weekend then a Day drive to Bellthopre and the big weekend trip to Fraser Island for the cleanup, check out the trip report and pics for what was a great adventure.

June will see the club run a day drive through Glasshouse Mountains and a Camp at Benarkin Sate Forest where we haven’t been for about 10 years with a trip planned to the old coach rd and gold diggings.

Club Visitors

We have had a steady stream of visitors taking advantage of our 3 mths visitor membership which gives them use of our app and they can come along on a couple of trips to see if the club suits them, happy to say a majority have been joining the club as financial members, so it is working well.

Membership

30^th of June is only a month away and this means most of our club members will need to renew their financial membership. Your membership card on the app will have your renewal date.

With the new member jungle system those members will receive a number of automatic emails letting you know its time to renew. Starting around the 17^th of June.

Your membership renewal can be paid by credit or debit card (visa or master) which can be stored under my payments in your admin area of the website if you wish. Card payment is the only option for renewal as it makes accounting easier and a receipt is emailed automatically.

 If your membership becomes overdue you will not be able to see most things on the app or attend club events until payment is made and after 2 months in arrears as per our constitution the system is set to automatically change your membership to non-financial and therefore no longer a club member and you would need to apply for a new financial membership.  This will save countless time wasted by the management committee chasing members for payment.

Membership Details

It is important that as members you keep your details up to date, so the club has an accurate membership register as required by law. To do this simply go to the website then click on your name: Admin, then in the admin panel click on my membership and then click view membership details. This is where you can update your information.

Training

The club continues to look into what types of training we can offer members.  Soon we will be offering a Winch Recovery Course and for those interested the 4wdqld Nationally Accredited Drive and Recover a 4wd Vehicle. This course will be run over two days plus a theory night.
