Great weekend at Woodford for the day drive through Mt Mee.

Well the year is coming to an end very quickly and the club has shut down for our Christmas break.

Glastonbury creek trip report.
It was great October weekend.
Peder and Steve R arrived early on Thursday, Peder found a great part of the park with ample shade and near a decent fire pit. 
Friday arrived with another gorgeous day. The cows were close by eating the excess grass around the park............................................

Charlie Moreland Camp W’end
All of those camping arrived Friday fairly early.
Surprisingly the main road into camp had just been graded, the smoothest ride I’ve driven into Charlie Moreland for a long time. The clouds hung around with a bit of precipitation to make it annoying .. Sam and I headed into Kenilworth for a wander.

Glastonbury Camp Trip Report 25th November 2022
Glastonbury camping weekend. What a great and unexpected perfect weekend. Friday Nigel and Danielle, Peder and Kerry, Steve and Sandra arrived at Glastonbury creek only to find Catherine and Paul had already been there for a couple of days enjoying the tranquil camping area. Peder had a little trouble getting to the camping area due to not paying attention to the signs, but managed to get there and setup camp before dark and a few beers around the fire with the rest. .

Great news - the first online raffle to support the annual Fraser Island Clean Up event has just launched.

Teewah Beach Christmas Party
The club did something different this year and held our party at Teewah Beach with the club booking out camp zone six which allowed plenty of room for our members to set up camp as well as our big club tarp.
The camp for Karen and myself started on the Tuesday as we decided to have a weeks holiday up the beach.
We were joined on Thursday morning by Nigel & Daniel, then after lunch new member Brian arrived as well............

Trip Report – Landcruiser Mountain Park 20-22nd August 2021
Well, where do we start, the iconic Landcruiser Mountain Park (LCMP). Easily in the top 5 list of Australian 4x4 locations. This place caters for practically everyone with tracks from easy green day drive picnic tracks through to tracks that even a twin locked comp truck with 400HP and 37” tyres will need to winch through.

Friday Afternoon after a 14k bumpy muddy dirt road we arrived at Clancy's camp ground to fine Paul and Catherine all set up with Nigel, Daniel and Matt in the process.
After picking a spot Karen, myself and Peder parked our vans and were set up quick smart the set up the club gazebo in case of rain.
While getting the fire going new members Steve & Sandra arrived to set up their camper. Happy hour was great then we settled in for a night around the and a few laughs. Benarkin Camp Trip Report 3rd July 2021

We met at CJs bakery at Woodford, 6 members and 2 visitors. We made our way to big red carpark to air down. We headed north along the powerline track to the macadamia nut farm and turned right to bypass the big wombat holes.

May was quite a busy month and we had our Training weekend then a Day drive to Bellthopre and the big weekend trip to Fraser Island for the cleanup, check out the trip report and pics for what was a great adventure.
June will see the club run a day drive through Glasshouse Mountains and a Camp at Benakin Sate Forest where we haven’t been for about 10 years with a trip planned to the old coach rd and gold diggings.

Well another successful Fraser Island Cleanup with 24 clubs collecting over 6000kg of rubbish with clubs cleaning from the barge all the way to Sandy Cape. This is the biggest beach clean up event is Australia.

Woodnum National Park is a small, pretty forested area near Pomona with a few short easy drives, with the exception of one gnarly side track which I'll get to in a minute.
We assembled in the chilly Autumn air at the park for the briefing before heading a short way out of town to deflate our tyres, near the commencement of Track 3.

Woodnum National Park is a small, pretty forested area near Pomona with a few short easy drives, with the exception of one gnarly side track which I'll get to in a minute. We assembled in the chilly Autumn air at the park for the briefing before heading a short way out of town to deflate our tyres, near the commencement of Track 3. .
Well it wasn’t a very sunny weekend, but those that camped or came for a day drive we had a ball. Four nights around an open fire would make many who camped in the rain at Teewah Beach without one very jealous.
The weekend stated Thursday arvo with Nigel & Daniel, Jim & Kare, Rob, Peder, Kerry and young Zalie, Mark & Jen and Justin to set up camp. Then we cranked up the fire to settle in with a few quiet ales.
Easter at Curra Trip Report 6th April 2021

The Happiest Club! At the recent 4wd Qld Presidents meeting the results of the association survey were in and the Caloundra City 4wd Club members were the happiest of all the clubs in Qld. Big thanks to all the club members for filling out the survey.

Teewah Beach camp weekend.
Friday 5th March most campers met at the BP servo. Sam & Brad met up with the others at the third cutting.
Long line up at the barge to get over to North shore. Absolutely cracker of a day, no wind and the surf was flat as. We all set up camp and a few of the boys cracked a cold beer. Teewah Beach Camp 7th March 2021

Well 2020 is nearly over and what a year it has been with the bush fires at the start to living with Covid 19 and all the challenges that has come with such a terrible disease.

Our last trip for the year to Double Island Point started as usual at the BP Forest Glen where we grabbed a coffee and a bit of breaky before we had a quick briefing and met a new member and her friend with kids in tow. We all headed up the Bruce Highway to the ferry.
